Frisco ISD is hosting a job fair Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Lebanon Trail High School for anybody looking to get a job with the district..
“I’ve been a part of one before,” counselor Ryan Kiefer said. “It’s a great way for people both seeking employment and the districts hosting them to canvas a wide array of different teachers for all sorts of various subjects across the district. For candidates, it’s a way to not just apply to one campus, but to apply to many at one time so they can get multiple interviews all at once.”
Anyone interested in attending must RSVP through a Google form. During this event, all the information about job positions in the district will be provided to attend
“Early in my career, I have gone to [the job trade fair] seeking employment but also I have been on hiring teams,” Kiefer said. “We screen resumes and what you’re building needs are and then do brief interviews. Sometimes [teachers] can be hired on the spot and sometimes you’re just gaining a pool for administrators or department chairs to hire later.”
