Prom, one of the last senior milestones, is fast approaching.
This year’s dance is being held at Verona Villa in Frisco on Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m with students able to buy tickets for $120 at the door. In addition, according to principal Stacey Whaling, this year’s prom is being planned with students in mind.
“We are gonna have some really awesome treats,” Whaling said. “We’ve got Nothing Bundt Cakes coming. And then we’re also gonna have a nine o’clock surprise delivery of food for students ’cause most kids eat early. Like they go for a nice dinner out and so they’re not typically super hungry by the time they get there. But by nine o’clock, they are hungry again, so we have a delivery coming of food.”
For senior Olivia Pulley, prom is a vital experience for all seniors.
“I just think it’s a really important milestone,” Pulley said. “You know, it’s like one of our last events as seniors, so I just think it’s a good opportunity for everyone to go and hang out with their friends and just have a fun night.”
