FISD hosts summer school webinar on Tuesday

Frisco ISD is hosting a summer school webinar on Tuesday at 6 pm. High school students interested in taking courses over the summer can attend to learn about dates, course selection, deadlines, and more.

Although there’s still a few weeks left in the school year, for some students, it’s time to start thinking about summer school. 

Frisco ISD administration will be holding a webinar on high school summer school opportunities on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. The webinar will cover information regarding dates, course selection, deadlines, and more.

Although FISD’s Secondary Summer School is mostly for students who need to make up missed credit, it does offer some classes for advancement.

Dimash is a junior and it’s his third year with Wingspan. He is a part of the school swim team as well as a member of a robotics club outside of campus. Dimash loves listening to music, coding, and spending time with his friends and family. He is excited to have another amazing year at Wingspan!

Remi Williams is a senior and starting her fourth year in Wingspan. At school she is involved in Student Council, on the Girls soccer team, and is Historian for NHS. When she’s not at work she loves hanging out with her friends, working out, and trying new recipes. But she’s usually talking to anyone and everyone or watching Netflix (feel free to send her show recommendations). Her most embarrassing accomplishment is that she has a couple thousand followers on Tik Tok, even though she doesn’t know a single dance. Remi is hoping to pursue a career in marketing at whatever school accepts her in the future. Oh, and she is also probably the funniest person you will ever meet despite what anyone may say.
