FriscoISD has now made it possible to get a glimpse from the past with archived digitalized yearbooks. Students may now browse yearbooks from 2007 to present.

FriscoISD has now digitized archives of yearbooks for all twelve schools in the district to preserve memories from the past.

“I think a digital archive would be a useful tool in Frisco,” yearbook sponsor Jeannie Taillat said. “We have yearbooks and they are pretty long lasting but a digital tool.”

Psychology and AcDec teacher Tim Johannes, who has worked on campus since its opening, thinks the digital archives cannot replace the physical yearbook

“I think just the idea of getting the yearbook during advisory or during lunch, and everybody would open it and look at it and share the memories of the year with each other I think that’s pretty powerful and I get a lot of books are going away, but I think that’s one we should probably stick around and keep,” Johannes said.

A link to the digital archives can be found on the FriscoISD district newsletter, with campus yearbooks dating back till 2007.
