Advisory is closed for the final three weeks of school

Students will remain in their second period classes for advisory for the remainder of the school year.

Second period is 30 minutes longer for the rest of the year as students will stay in their second period class for advisory.

For students with dual credit classes and regular classes 3rd period, they must stay in their 2nd period for all of advisory. Students with CTE Center classes 3rd period must stay until 12:25 p.m. Students who have early release 3rd period may leave once 2nd period ends.

As the semester is winding down, there’s not as many reasons for students to have an open 30 minutes.

“So for advisory we decided to shut it down a few weeks early because students tend to not have as many projects and as much work going on,” principal Stacey Whaling said. And so we are trying to avoid any shenanigans that are going to happen, but students are still able to get a pass from their teachers if they have any work they did to get done.”
