Keeping the momentum going, baseball scored a 7-0 win over Independence on Friday to keep the Redhawks playoff hopes alive.
Sticking to the game plan made this game the best of the year according to head coach Scott McGarrh.
“It was probably the best game we played all year,” McGarrh said. “We pitched at a very high level. We executed at the plate, we executed our game plan well. Now what we didn’t do well was we made a few errors that ended up not costing us, but could cost us in the long run.”
It was a simple endeavor for success in the mind of senior Jackson Pierce.
“We played loose and stuck to our game plan,” Pierce said.
