Wingspan: When and why did you start playing baseball?
Bishop: “I started playing when I was three, because my two older brothers played and it looked fun.”
Wingspan: What is your favorite part about baseball?
Bishop: “My favorite part about baseball is being on a team. No matter what, you can’t win a baseball game with one player, so a win feels good and is fun for everybody.”
Wingspan: What is your least favorite part about baseball?
Bishop: “I don’t like losing. We won’t lose.”
Wingspan: Who is your biggest inspiration?
Bishop: “My biggest inspiration is probably my mom and my dad. They are always super supportive of me and come to my games.”
Wingspan: What are your goals for the playoffs?
Bishop: “State. That is it.”
Wingspan: Are you nervous for the playoffs? Why or why not?
Bishop: “I’d say I am more excited than nervous. We are gonna win and put it all out there.”
Wingspan: Do you plan to continue your baseball career after high school?
Bishop: “I do not plan on it, I want to focus on my school and have a social life outside of baseball.”
