Frisco Independent School District (FISD)’s Board of Trustees met Monday, beginning with a closed session to discuss parent grievances and security audit-related matters.
Afterwards, the board reconvened in an open session, beginning by recognizing Partners of Education, as well as Lawler Middle School’s orchestra for being selected as a TMEA honor group.
The board also approved the August meeting minutes, finalized district advisory council appointments, and discussed consent agenda items, some of which include approving heads of different education committees, budget transfers, and authorization of final payment for CTE renovations.
The meeting ended with the review of monthly tax reports.
