Wingspan: Why do you play football?
Miller: “I play football really just because I enjoy hitting people and completing my blocks.”
Wingspan: What are you most looking forward to this season?
Miller: “I am looking forward to our homecoming game against Independence and our Senior night game against Memorial because they are very winnable games and are fun occasions.”
Wingspan: Are you planning to play later in life?
Miller: “I don’t plan to play later in life but I would consider it if I got the opportunity.”
Wingspan: What is your goal for this season?
Miller: “My goal for this season is to win three games and we definitely have the ability to do so.”
Wingspan: What impact has football had on your life?
Miller: “Football has impacted me positively by teaching me values like discipline and responsibility.”
Wingspan: What does your practice routine look like?
Miller: “Usually our practices consist of an hour and a half to two hours of practice then a 30 minute lift after. Practice could consist of anything from going good on good(Best defense player vs Best offense players) to doing individual practice like pushing the sled as a lineman.”
Wingspan: How do you stay motivated after a big loss?
Miller: “I stay motivated by thinking about our next game and I just put my focus on winning that next game.”
Wingspan: What is something you will take away from your high school football experience?
Miller: “I think my main take away from my time playing football is that you should never give up and there will always be some sort of reward if you don’t stop.”
Wingspan: What matters the most to you during a game?
Miller: “Team comradery matters the most to me during a game. Whether it could be a short catch or a big touchdown run, good team comradery will lift the team’s spirits and lighten the environment.”
