With the Pink Out football game approaching, students have the opportunity to support school spirit.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which begins on Oct. 1, Student Council (STUCO) is selling official Pink Out shirts. Students, especially those who are planning on attending the Pink Out football game, are strongly encouraged to buy the shirts to show school spirit.
STUCO member Luke Head explains how spirit wear can elevate the game atmosphere.
“I think it just really increases the school spirit and makes the games a lot more fun,” Head said. “It’s just kinda fun to see all the people dressed up. It’s fun at the games when everyone—like the whole crowd—it’s all pink or it’s all just dressed up. Just makes it a lot more fun for the environment.”
Students can purchase the Pink Out shirts by Friday for $20 through this link.
