Wingspan: When and why did you start wrestling?
Stacks: “I started wrestling sophomore year because I didn’t want to be a soccer manager anymore and my friend convinced me to join.”
Wingspan: What is your favorite part about wrestling?
Stacks: “My favorite part is getting to hang out with my friends and go through those shared experiences with them.”
Wingspan: What do you hope to accomplish this season?
Stacks: “I hope to place at districts this year.”
Wingspan: Do you plan to wrestle after high school? Why or why not?
Stacks: “I do not plan to wrestle after high school professionally outside of maybe a club a few nights a week because I love the sport but I do not want to commit my life to it.”
Wingspan: How has the team been preparing?
Stacks: “The team has been working hard, stretching, and making sure we are eating well as well as watching films.”
Wingspan: Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
Stacks: “My biggest interpretation is my dad because he does jujitsu and works hard any chance he can. He also has taught me what it means to be a man and how to carry that into both my personal and social life.”
Wingspan: What do you like most about the team?
Stacks: “I like the fun and passionate spirit the most about the team.”
Wingspan: How are you working through your injury to get better as soon as possible?
Stacks: “Although it’s only a very minor injury, I’m icing, stretching, and getting massages to help work my shoulder.”
