The girls basketball team (10-18, 5-6) faced Heritage (20-13, 9-2) on the road Friday, losing 60-29.
“The biggest challenges they had was a really good three point shooter, she scored five threes on us,” head coach Mykaela Alfred said. “Their press also really challenged us in the first quarter, and as the game went on we struggled.”
According to sophomore Harper Johnson the pressure the Coyotes gave was the biggest challenge of the game.
“The biggest thing with heritage was that they were pressuring me when I got the ball,” Johnson said. “So honestly it was hard to stay composed and try and not throw away the ball.”
