With the February course selection deadline coming up, Frisco ISD is offering four new in-person course options for the 2026-2027 year.
“These new courses will benefit students in their ability to learn more in areas of their personal interest,” lead counselor Amanda Zambiasi said.
The following in person courses are:
Turf Grass Management
- Prepares students for careers in horticultural systems
- Offered to 9th-12th grade students
Multivariable Calculus
- For 11th and 12th grade students who have completed AP Calculus BC
- Continued mathematical studies to prepare students for college level math
Practicum in Law
- Capstone experience for 12th grade students
- Focuses on applying legal knowledge in real world scenarios
- Part of a Law and Public Service Career Cluster at the CTE center
Sports Medicine II
- For 10th-12th grade students
- Introduces psychomotor applications of sports medicine and athletic training
- Includes clinical experience with student athletes
