With the passage of Senate Bill 2231 during the 89th Texas Legislative session, Texas students now have an annual, week-long opportunity to submit college applications for free with the Free College Application Week initiative. Admission application fees for Texas public colleges and universities will be waived for Texas residents when applying through Apply Texas from Oct. 13 to Oct. 19.
