Algebra EOC on tuesday

Students in Algebra I will be testing on Tuesday with the Algebra EOC. Students must arrive by 8:45 a.m. with testing starting at 9 a.m.

The Algebra EOC STAAR test continues for some students in Algebra 1 on Tuesday. 

Students taking the test must arrive by 8:45 a.m. and testing will start promptly at 9 a.m. Students will also need to bring their district-issued chromebooks and bottled water.

“Advice I would give to students is to trust what they have prepared for,” AP Precalculus and Algebra 1 teacher Simone Symmank said.  “A lot of math is just students having confidence, which is them being confident that they learnt what they needed to, going into the test.”

Students will be dismissed upon completion to resume their normal class schedule.

Kennedy is a senior who’s starting her final year of broadcast journalism. She plans to become an anesthesiologist and continue to drum as a side hustle. In addition to Wingspan, Kennedy is the NHS Chapter President and drumline captain of the band. She believes that she may have been born into the wrong time period, and she has yet to find one person on campus that has a music taste remotely similar to hers.
