Meanwhile, the girls (1-5-2) tied Frisco (2-4-1) 3-3 on the road
The #19th ranked boys soccer team (5-1-2 in district play) continued its winning ways on Friday with a 3-1 win over Frisco (1-5-2).
The team members’ bond with each other was essential for the win according to attacking midfielder, senior Brandon Braueninger.
“We all play for our love of the game,” Braueninger said. “It’s amazing, we have so much chemistry with each other.”
Meanwhile, the girls (1-5-2) tied Frisco (2-4-1) 3-3 on the road, something head coach Kyle Beggs is proud of.
“This whole week leading up to the game we practiced crossing and finishing to help defend against Frisco,” Beggs said. “We scored off of two crosses and it also helped us defend, as none of their goals came off of crosses or corners.”
