Continuing district play, both soccer teams compete against Lebanon Trail Tuesday in District 11-5A play.
The girls (1-5-2) will play first, hosting the Blazers (4-0-4) at The Nest at 5:45, and the boys (5-1-2) will challenge LT (0-7-1) on the road at 7:00 p.m.
“I want to see [the team] keep fighting,” girls head coach Kyle Beggs said. “They’ve shown that a lot in recent matches, an unwillingness to go down. We’re only a few points off of a playoff spot so everything is still in our hands.”
For the boys, junior midfielder Asher Ervin believes that a statement win is important.
“If we’re going to make the playoffs, I think we need to show what we’re capable of in district play,” Ervin said.
