Seniors celebrate college decision day Friday

National College Decision Day on Friday marks the deadline for seniors to commit to a college for the fall, with students celebrating the milestone by wearing their college shirts the following Monday.

National College Decision Day, celebrated on Friday, marks the deadline for high school seniors to choose a college and submit their nonrefundable enrollment deposit to secure a spot for the fall semester. 

“I committed to Texas A&M in mid-April, where I plan to major in Public Health through the Honors Program,” senior Ayush Dane said. “For me, decision day represents officially finishing this chapter of my life and looking ahead to what’s next.” 

Although there is no school on Friday, students are encouraged to wear their college shirts on Monday to show where they plan to attend.
