Addi Lefkof is a sophomore going into her first year on the Wingspan staff. She writes as a sports reporter and is involved in Redhawk volleyball and softball. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, watching films, and spending time with her family. She loves all things journalism and anticipates a wonderful year on Wingspan.

After having high hopes and a positive attitude toward their last game, the softball team fell short, losing 4-3 against the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers on Wednesday night. “It was a little disappointing that we weren’t able to take one last win,” head coach Baylea Higgs said. “But the girls still had plenty of fun so I wouldn’t say it was a horrible loss.”

Falling 10-4 to Walnut Grove, the softball team still saw some success according to head coach Baylea Higgs. “We responded to adversity, which was one of my goals for the team going into this game, and we had handled ourselves on defense pretty well,” Higgs said. “Walnut Grove is easily the best team in the district, and being able to hold them at 10 runs is a pretty good stat, having a smaller team.”
