Graduation is just around the corner for Redhawks seniors. Before students can get their diploma, they must complete a checklist of assignments located in Canvas.

The year is nearing the end for seniors on campus, and a new Canvas course has been assigned to all seniors to check off their final assignments before graduation on May 18.

Seniors can order their cap and gown on Jostens’ website. The cap and gown will be delivered directly to the senior’s home.

2.  Enter Volunteer Hours into Xello (4/1/2024)

If seniors would like to participate in the Frisco ISD Community Service Program and earn a cord at graduation, they may log at least 100 hours of community service through Xello.

3. Flashing Lights (4/1/2024)

Seniors must complete a Canvas course titled “Flashing Lights.” This course helps fulfill the requirements under Senate Bill 30, which requires schools to provide instruction for students in grades 9-12 before graduation over Safety.

4. Complete FISD Senior Survey (5/1/2024)

Seniors will fill out this form to inform the counseling team of their plans after graduation.

6. Pay Outstanding School Fees (5/15/ 2024)

If a senior has any outstanding fees with FISD, they will be added to Online School Fees (OSF) account by May 10th. These must be paid in order to graduate.

7. FAFSA/TASFA/Opt-Out (4/1/2024)

Seniors must either:

  • Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Complete and submit a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA)
  • Submit a signed opt-out form.

8. Name Pronouncing for Graduation (5/16/2024)

Seniors must fill out the correct name pronunciation for their full name.

9. Change School Email in Parchment (5/17/2024)

In Parchment, seniors must change their school email address to a personal email.

10. Complete Technology Checklist (5/17/2024)

Seniors must complete the technology checklist in Canvas and return their Chromebook and charger.

11. Return all Library Books (5/3/2024)

Seniors must have their library books returned by May 3. They can find any books checked out by logging into their LS2 Account.

12. Check School Cafe Balance (5/17/2024)

Seniors must log onto their SchoolCafe account to check to see if they have a balance that needs to be refunded or moved to a sibling who will still be in the district after you graduate. If a senior wishes to transfer money to a sibling’s account or donate funds to a student in need they must complete the Cafeteria Account Refund Request Form.
