DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), designated to prepare students for careers such as marketing, finance, hospitality, and management, through local, state and international competitions will be hosting an informational meeting Wednesday for any and all interested.
“DECA has a lot of benefits for students,” senior and DECA president Neha Ramachandran said. “The first is the development of soft skills so you develop those interpersonal skills, those leadership skills and also develop those public speaking skills, those networking skills as you meet with professionals and other people in business. It also develops skills that are more technical like accounting if you want to go into finance.”
To find out more about what DECA has to offer, make sure to join Wednesday’s meeting during advisory in the auditorium and join the Remind using the code LHSDECA26.
