Student Council is hosting its annual Halloween Cake Walk during advisory on Wednesday, giving students the opportunity to compete and win Halloween treats. 

“ So, today we’re going to have a cakewalk during advisory,” Student Council president, senior Anna Knight said. “We like to do events like this because it just brings the school together, especially without having phones during advisory.”

Students can look forward to participating in games and getting prizes. 

“I think we usually have really good turnouts and it’s Halloween this week,” Knight said. “Our cakewalk is Halloween themed, and so people will be able to join the game and stand in a circle and you’ll walk around to the music and then a number will be called out. And if it is your number, you get to go pick a prize, which is cookies, cake, cupcakes from  the table where they will be at, and it’s super fun and I really think everybody should come.”

The event takes place on Wednesday in the auxiliary gym during advisory.
