“We’re going to keep the [new] lineup,” head coach Mykaela Alfred said. “Our defensive strategies are going to be a little different, but the offense is going to be simple. The biggest thing is taking care of the ball. [Independence] also [doesn’t] pressure as much as we’ve seen, so we should be okay with that.”
According to sophomore Harper Johnson, the new offensive changes recently made will be useful in the upcoming game.
“Over the break, we added a new offense that we’re getting the hang of,” Johnson said.“So that will be useful in any trick plays that we’ll see coming.”
