Continuing a now-two-game losing streak, the softball team (5-3) lost to Frisco (7-1) 12-2 at The Nest Friday. With the loss, the Redhawks have surrendered this season’s series against the Raccoons, as they also lost to them 9-1 in February.

“We knew they were going to be challenging,” head coach Randi Hamilton said. “They challenged us on every pitch and we sometimes couldn’t adjust fast enough.”
The team will have a chance to get back on track when they hit the road to face Lebanon Trail (2-6) Monday at 6 p.m.
Freshman catcher Alaina Evans said mindset will be key in the next game.
“We had a rough game against a tough opponent,” Evans said. “We have to encourage each other to look past that and move forwards.”
