As the school year winds down, seniors may have a few more hurdles in the way of graduation.
To officially graduate, Frisco ISD students must complete their financial aid response form, among many other graduation requirements, which can be found on the senior checklist on Canvas.
However, many of these smaller tasks can slip through the cracks.
“I did know that decisions were due May 1st,” senior Sonja Mo said. “But there were a lot of different aspects about financial aid that I didn’t really know too much about, and it’s definitely approaching. For example, I have to apply to a bunch of different scholarships, to a bunch of different colleges, and then also make sure about housing and room and board, and all those costs add up, so I just have to take care of all those aspects in the long run.”
