The football season kicks off on Friday with many students and staff ready for the different themes for each game.
“I am looking forward to the first game, tropical themed,” sophomore Rio Kawai said. “I think it’s a good and colorful summer theme.”
Other students, like senior Ava Clerkin, head manager for the Red Rhythm dance team, are excited to show school spirit.
“I am excited for the themes this year because they are things everyone can participate in with things they probably already have,” Clerkin said. “I am most looking forward to the USA theme.”
Assistant football coach Canon Kromis believes the themes are an important part of the season.
“I’m really excited the school is getting behind not just football but all athletics,” Kromis said. “It’s the same for [the athletes], they feel the support, they love it, and they’re going to play for the students.”
