After receiving multiple calls that required 26 Frisco police officers approximately two hours to resolve, the city of Frisco revoked the special permit for the Frisco Fair and shutting the operation down immediately. The fair opened on April 28 and was scheduled to run through May 14.

Tile painting has been an annual project for precalculus students, but painting ceiling tiles is a part of this year's Algebra 1 end-of-the-year project. Other options for the project include creating an Algebra 1 glossary, making a music video, or taking a quiz on every module covered throughout the year.

Art 1 students had the chance to attempt multiple color scheme painting during a class project. Certain aspects of the project, such as such as complementary, monochromatic, tetrads, and triad color schemes, are foundational to art skills in the eyes of art teacher Jeb Matulich.

Sitting on the windowsill are various supply for the students to use while they paint the library tables, including brushes, paints and tape. The various sized brushes allow the art students to design their tables with precise or large details.

After painting the library tables, Junior Raina Kinneer, washes the paint covered brushes in the library office sink. There is a large pile of wet paint brushes next to the sink that continue to sry from previous students use.

Sophomore Kimberly Nguyen, paints a second coat of black paint onto the library table. The second coat is needed to create a smoother and less translucent look to the design.

During her first period art class, junior Fallon Buckner, paints the last finishing touches onto an astronaut in the school library.

As the class period comes to an end, Juniors April Xu and Nandasri Talluri, begin to clean up their workspaces by gathering the dirty brushes. It is important for the students to leave library clean after they are done for the day.

While painting her designated library table, junior April Xu plays music on her phone for her other group members, juniors Fallon Buckner and Archana Nagarathinam, to listen too.

While she continues to work on her groups space themed table, Junior April Xu, paints a rocket ship flying in space.

Junior Archana Nagarathinam is in the process of painting a blue planet onto one of the school library tables.

Various painted library tables are set aside in Liberty High School’s library. Librarian Chelsea Hamilton, requested Liberty art students to paint various library tabes in order to bring more life and creativity to the school library.

Spray paint artist, Martin Martinez, creates flames as he works on his spray paint canvases during the Friso Fair. The final products can be purchased online or in person at Martinezes business, Cosmo.

As dinner time draws near, Frisco Fair attendees stand in line for Po’ Boy Place primo sandwiches. The menu offers a variety of barbecue meats, sides and drinks to choose from, along with vegetarian options.

During the Frisco Fair, Ariel Oetegon, owner of Arignar Designs, tends a stand with her beaded bracelets, earrings and necklaces. All of the jewelry is handmade by Oetegon and placed on display for fair attendees to purchase.

The Giant Wheel, located at the Frisco Fair, stands 108 feet tall and can hold up to 144 people per cycle. The ferris wheel is fairly new, as it was manufactured in 2018 by Reuzenradbouw Lamberink B.V. Nederland.

Josh Hoptay smiles as he tends his fair stand, lined with a variety of different flavor cookies. Hoptay’s company, Trouy Cookies, claims to sell the world's greatest gluten free cookies, open for samples as attendees approach his stand.

Frisco Fresh Market hosts the inaugural Frisco Fair for members around the area to enjoy with family and friends. Under the large structure, there are a variety of food and crafts stands to experience.

Located behind he Frisco Fresh Market structure is the Frisco Fair rides. The event opened on March 28 and closes on Sunday.

Frisco Fair attendees walk around the numerous fair rides on the grand opening day of the Frisco Fair. There are countless rides for all ages to enjoy, such as kiddie, family and thriller rides.

After purchasing food from the wide variety of food vendors at the Frisco Fair, attendees find a spot at one for the wooden tables to eat their dinner. The food options include barbecue, hot dogs, burgers, milkshakes, cookies, cupcakes, fried food and more.

Fair attendees purchase ride tickets at the two available ticket booths during the Frisco Fair. Although there is no cost associated with attending the fair, tickets are needed for the various rides.

Frisco Fair attendees bump into one another as they ride the fair’s bumper cars. Admission to the fair is free, but rides require tickets with prices varying depending on the ride.

During the Frisco Fair, live music is a regular feature under the Frisco Fresh Market pavilion.

As the evening continues, increased number of people attend the Frisco Fair with family and friends. The long decorated tables are filled with people eating fair food or enjoying the band’s live music.

Glass fusing involves taking different types of glass and heating them up at a very high temperature so they melt together. This is done by placing the glass into a kiln.

Over the course of a couple of weeks, NAHS held several glass fusing nights where members used a variety of art supplies to create pieces of jewelry for Museum Night which takes place on Friday, March 1, 2019.

During the FISD College Fair, students and parents wait in line for the University of Penn State along with multiple other attendees. The FISD students and parents plan to get a more indepth look at what the University of Penn State has to offer.

During the FISD College Fair, juniors Marley Oldham and Lulia Pan from Heritage High School talk with University of Wyoming representative, Fareett Patrick, about possible choices of major at the University of Wyoming.

At the annual college fair, students would usually get the opportunity to find their interests and start planning for life after high school in-person. But this year, the college fair is taking on an online platform.

As students and parents approach the University of Nebraska- Lincoln informational table, representative, Genesis Garcia, answers their various question about the school and campus life. Genesis Garcia highlights a few of the campuses new engineering buildings that are being built to further boost their engineering program.

While waiting for students and parents to visit her informational table, Northeast Texas Community College representative, Shelbi Rankin, organizes the brochures and pamphlets. With the crowd of students and parents attending the FISD College Fair, College and University representatives have to keep up with the demand for their informational papers.

Representative for Western Governors University, Barbera LeCesne, writes down upcoming dates in her planner as she waits for students to arrive at her college informational table.

The Environmental Education Center in plano hosed the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation that gives residence living in the Plano area a chance to learn new ways on maintain a healthy and environmental friendly garden. Not far from the building is a community garden that Master gardeners work to grow vegetables for food donation.

At the end of the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation, Master gardener Julie Grim, takes the time to assist community member Hidemi Nishibayashi in understanding the charts provided in the viewer handouts. The handouts provided during the presentation gave the community members information regarding when to plant certain vegetables and plants.

While listening to the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation, community member MK Werner takes notes on important information that she believes will be helpful to know for her home garden. The community members attending the presentation will also be provided with a full online copy of the presentation the following day.

Throughout the Organic Gardening presentation, Compost and Landscaping Education coordinator, Erin Hoffer, speaks in the middle of the room to give extra information that the Master gardeners have left out from the presentation.

The last speaker of the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation, Master Gardener, Rebecca Brady, gives the community members tips on the ideal ways to water their home gardens to achieve maximum results.

As the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation begins, Master Gardener, Mimi Serrao, starts off the presentation by giving the community members information on the ideal times to water plants during each different season.

The Students for Environmental Action Club have been working on making sleeping mats to donate to homeless individuals. "This project involves both social justice and welfare with environmental problems," junior Lauren Maher said.

Community members from around the Plano area come together at the Environmental Education Center to attend the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation. Three Master gardeners share their first hand experiences on maintaining an organic garden along with helpful tips on how the viewers can improve their home gardens.

At the end of the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation, community member Larry Witkowski, speaks with presentation leader Erin Hoffer about upcoming gardening events and classes.

Before finding a seat for the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation, community member Kay Branigar, signs in at the visitor table by marking her name with a highlighter. After signing in, community members are provided with a couple informational handouts.

As the Organic Vegetable Gardening presentation comes to an end, viewers take the chance to ask the Master gardeners a few of their questions regarding the presentation. The Master gardeners use their knowledge and background on gardening to answer the questions to the best of their abilities.

One Thread Club leader, Ayda sow, folds and organizes the various fabrics the supplies bins for later use. By being neat, it makes it easier for the other club members find their desired fabric among all of the supplies.
