Competing in a meet against Dallas Wilson High School and Frisco HS, the Redhawks swim and dive team sent several swimmers to podium finishes at the Bruce Eubanks Natatorium on Thursday.

Competing against Frisco HS and Dallas Wilson HS at the Bruce Eubanks Natatorium on Thursday, the swim and dive team secured more podium finishes and TISCA cuts.

“My only expectation was for the athletes to try their best and get up and race, which they did an amazing job at,” head swim coach Zachariah Gnoza said.

However, with their next meet in less than a week, freshman Vir Gandhi knows that the team needs to continue improving their speed and technique.

“[I] was able to try new events, [which] boosted my confidence, but I need to work on my butterfly,” Gandhi said.
