Losing their eligibility for playoffs, the boys’ basketball team played their final game of District 10-5A play on Tuesday. The boys ended up closing out their season with a loss to the Titans.

Putting the 2023-24 season to a close, the boys’ basketball team fell to the Centennial Titans on Tuesday night, losing 43-38.

For the second time this season, the Redhawks lost by five points to their rival, bringing their final District 10-5A record to 4-10.

“Obviously, it’s not the result we wanted, but we’re proud of the team,” assistant coach Bo Wilson said. “Our guys executed the game plan for the better part of three quarters, but we let it slip away from us at the end.”

Although this wasn’t the way the team had hoped to end the season, senior Vedant Shah believes that the last few months were a success.

“I feel this season went well,” Shah said. “I really enjoyed playing with the team and working with them and I definitely made some memories that will last a lifetime. While being a part of this team, I’ve learned to be a better leader, to be someone that is more approachable and collaborative to the people I spend a lot of time with.”
