Name: Lauren Sinclair

Grade: senior

Years of experience: 15 years

Wingspan: Why do you like to dance?

Wingspan: What has been your favorite dance that you have ever been in?

Sinclair: “My favorite dance that I have ever been in my whole life was called “Hit the Road Jack” at my studio called KJ when I was 11, and I was the star.”

Wingspan: Do you have a preference between any of the dance styles?

Sinclair: “I like all dance styles but my favorites are jazz and ballet, and my least favorite is modern because I was never trained in it.”

Wingspan: Who is your dance inspiration?

Sinclair: “My dance inspiration is definitely the LSU Tiger Girls because of their contagious energy and it’s really mesmerizing and entertaining to watch them.”

Wingspan: What is the most important aspect of dancing?

Sinclair: “I think personality and creativity is the most important aspect of dancing because it’s kind of the only way you can make yourself stand out next to people who are doing the exact same thing as you.”

Wingspan: What is the toughest challenge you face when it comes to dancing?

Sinclair: “The toughest challenge is definitely losing motivation, and having to keep going even when my motivation is lacking.”

Wingspan: “What is your favorite thing that dance has led you to?”

Sinclair: “My favorite thing that dances has led me to is definitely the friendships I have made throughout the years, I spend almost every single day with the team and I love my friends.”
