Entering the second half of District 10-5A play with a record of 2-4, the boys’ basketball team hopes to find success Friday against Centennial. “We need to stick to the game plan and be prepared for what challenges come up during the game,” senior Reuben Levingston said.

Completing the first round of District 10-5A play, the boys’ basketball team will travel down the road to face the Centennial Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

As both teams currently have a district record of 2-4 and with the playoffs fast approaching, this game is expected to be exciting.

“With it being a rivalry game, we know they’re going to have a loud and wild crowd,” assistant coach Bo Wilson said. “It’s a great opportunity for our guys to play, in what’s shaping up to be a very big game. There’s still the entire 2nd round of district to be played, and both of our teams are trying to keep themselves in contention for a playoff spot.”

Being able to execute against their opponents remains to the goal for the Redhawks.

“We need to stick to the game plan and be prepared for what challenges come up during the game,” senior Reuben Levingston said. “We should get the win as long as we work harder than them.”
