The track and field team is competing in the Area meet Thursday at Kuykendall Stadium where the top four finishers in each event will compete in the 5A Region II meet at UTA April 19-20.

More than a dozen Redhawks are taking part in the Area track meet at Kuykendall Stadium on Thursday as the top four in each event advance to 5A Region II meet at UTA April 19-20. Here’s a look at the results of Redhawks competing.

Girls’ 3200 meter run

1st: Sydni Wilkins (senior) 10:55.62

2nd: Sofia Golladay (junior) 11:37.76

Girls’ long jump
