Located in the heart of Frisco just off of Preston Road, Coffee U is one of an endless supply of cafes in Frisco. It offers a selection of trendy drinks along with an intimate and Instagram-able atmosphere. 

The interior is filled with comfortable seating, warm lighting, and decorative greenery to make the space more lively. Additionally, Coffee U provides outside seating for customers who want to enjoy their beverage in the sun.

Coffee U’s menu includes a variety of drinks, whether it be coffee, matcha, or even a simple smoothie. The cafe is most known for their Einspänner latte, which is cold foam (a mixture of cold milk, cream, and sugar, frothed to make foam), that you can order on top of varying drink items. Coffee U also allows you to customize your drink to your liking, with size options of a small (12 oz, priced at $6.50) or a large (16 oz, priced at $7.50), ice levels, and milk choices.

On this visit four drinks were sampled: the Spiced Apple, Pumpkin Spice, and Matcha Einspanner lattes along with a Strawberry Smoothie.

Their signature Einspänner cold foam added a soft and subtle sweetness yet delicious aspect to the Spiced Apple, Pumpkin Spice, and Matcha lattes.

 The Pumpkin Spice Einspänner is perfect for autumn lovers, with a cozy cinnamon and rich pumpkin flavor that satisfies the tongue.

The Matcha Einspänner is a great option for non-coffee drinkers that still like to indulge in caffeine. It has an excellent balance of earthiness from the organic matcha powder and creaminess from the cold foam, with a sprinkle of Coffee U’s iconic Einspanner flavor. 

The Spiced Apple Einspänner was by far the best of the Einspänner lattes tasted. Its flavor replicated an apple pie with a juicy apple flavor, and a crumbly, pie crust twist. 

Lastly, for people that don’t enjoy caffeinated drinks, Coffee U also offers a wide assortment of smoothies. One of which, the Strawberry Smoothie, had a natural strawberry tartness that refreshes a thirsty mouth.

Coffee U has choices for all beverage enjoyers, from matcha to smoothies. Its delightfully bright interior and reasonably priced drinks make for a magnificent weekend stop.
