With the 2025-26 school year winding down, fall and the beginning of a new volleyball season inches closer.

The Redhawks’ offseason looks a little different this year with the departure of several seniors and the addition of a new head coach in Ashley Pennington.

“Going into this offseason we are really trying to build off of what we established last year,” Pennington said. “Obviously we had a great season and we are really just trying to add depth and layers to our volleyball IQ. We’re watching a lot of film and really trying to deepen what we worked on last year and add a lot of layers. Working on shots, working on placement, working on a lot of mechanics, and working on next season and the offseason.”

With the departures of key seniors many players are stepping up this offseason.

“Obviousy we had a great season last year and our seniors had a big role in that so losing them this year is definitely tough,” junior middle blocker Emersyn Fink said. “During the offseason this year we’re all working on versatility and playing different positions, and Coach Pennington is really working on our mechanics and playing different positions.”
