The claws of the Frisco Racoons dug deep last Friday when then Redhawks fell 43-7. After a week to prepare, the Redhawks gear up to put a stop to the Lebanon Trail Trailblazers.

After scooping up a fumble, Redhawks quarterback (#12) Keldric Luster races into the end zone for a 62-yard touchdown run in the team's 41-24 win over Lake Dallas on Thursday at the Ford Center. Thursday's win moves the Redhawks to 5-0 overall, and 3-0 in District 7-5A.

After catching a pass from quarterback Keldric Luster, wide receiver Lawson Towne (#17) turns his eyes towards the end zone. Towne finished with 6 receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown in the Redhawks 43-36 win over Rock Hill in the opening game of District 7-5A play.

With the flag of the United States in hand, the Redhawks take the field at Kuykendall Stadium on Sept. 9 for the opening game of District 7-5A play against Rock Hill.

Driving towards the Blue Hawks end zone, the Redhawks are lined up on 1st down in the opening game of District 7-5A. Rockhill jumped out to an early 14-7 lead, before the Redhawks were able to outscore the Blue Hawks 36-22 the rest of the way for the 43-36 win.

Band is closing off their year with a banquet to celebrate their accomplishments this year. “I wanted to go to the banquet because it will give me a chance to see everyone in my section other than in summer practices together,” sophomore Evan Buckner said. “I think that the community of band is great and helps build bonds.”

Breaking through the Reedy defense, quarterback Keldric Luster rushed for three touchdowns in the Redhawks season opening win. Leading for most of the game, the Redhawks found themselves down 49-42 before they scored a touchdown and 2-point conversion with :08 left in the game to win 50-49.

The Redhawks take field at Kuykendall Stadium for their season opening game against Reedy. The team would jump out to an early lead only to see Reedy storm back. However, the Redhawks would score the winning 2-point conversion with just seconds left to win 50-49.

Passing for 293 yards, quarterback Keldric Luster did as much damage running as he did throwing as the junior had his hand (and feet) involved in six touchdowns in the Redhawks 50-49 win over Reedy.

Captains for both the Redhawks and Reedy Lions stand at the 50-yard lion with the referee for the opening coin toss at Kuykendall Stadium on Aug. 26.

The Redhawks clipped the wings of the Denison Yellowjackets winning 49-44 on Friday. Last season, Denison dominated 20-17 giving the Redhawks something to prove this time around.
