Eilidh McGarva, Executive Producer

Eilidh McGarva, now a senior, has been doing broadcast since 7th grade. At first she aspired to be the next Erin Andrews, but this past year changed her career path to become a pharmacist. She loves baking and her cats Bon Qui Qui and Buddy. Fortunately finding out she has a gluten intolerance has not stopped her baking hobby. Pinterest, Reese’s, Big Bang Theory, brownies, pineapple, basil lemonade, That ‘70s Show, tater tots and Modern Family are some of her favorite things. English, physics, velcro, kale, and the stair stepper are some of her least favorite things.

The seats of The Star were empty when the football team took a tour of The Star the week before school started. However, the way tickets were sold for Saturday's opening day of football, may leave plenty of empty seats as some students have been unable to get tickets for the game against Wakeland.

From the school's back fields to the track, the cross country team has been logging mile after mile since early August to prepare for their first meet Sept. 3 in Denton.
