Legacy hall welcome Jazz band on Sunday starting at 1 pm. “I think playing at a venue like this would be such an amazing experience,” senior Nicholas Hung said. “It will definitely be a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’m mainly just looking forward to being able to play the pieces that we’ve all been working hard on for such a big crowd.”

The National Art Honor Society will be putting on a Museum Night on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for students to show off their artwork. Admission is free but students have the chance to buy jewelry and other things to raise money for the fundraiser.

This group of kiddos came available and what happened was, our home has square footage that allows for us to take up to six children and so they saw our square footage and said, ‘okay look, we know that you say this, we want kids between four and fourteen, Kristin said. We know that you say that you want two or three, how about four and they’re five, four, three, and two,’ and we were like, okay so, honestly, we just prayed on it. We’re like okay, is this what we were meant to have, is this who we were meant to be.”

“All the kids are coming in costume and they’re all people who impacted the world in some way during the modern era,” teacher Elizabeth Evans said. “Then they’re having to mingle in costume and ultimately they’re having to write a paper that kind of synthesizes what they’ve learned from each other into it.”
