Walker Shippy

Walker Shippy, WTV Sports Producer

Senior Walker Shippy is a 4–year Wingspan veteran, who began broadcasting stories his freshman year on topics ranging from Liberty’s beloved parking attendant, Mr. Budz, to broadcasts about the school’s competitive sports teams. Walker plays varsity baseball, is president of Liberty Leadership Council, a member of National Honor Society, and a 4-year member of Young Men’s Service League. He’s big on helping others and really enjoys volunteering alongside his church youth-group friends. Walker has three brothers, two dogs and six jars of Bulgarian pickles.

With their spring season cancelled due to COVID-19, many golfers are left disappointed. However that's not the case for seniors Tyler Shippy and Sona Shah who were named to the All-State Academic Golf Team.
